January 2018 Book Club Meeting

When: 1/19/2018 11:00 AM - 12:30 PM
Where:
institutesuccess, 13950 Ballantyne Corporate Place, Suite 170, Charlotte, NC 28277
The ICF-Charlotte Book Club participants got so much out of discussing "Trust Factor: The Science of Creating High-Performance Companies" at our December discussion that we've added another meeting in January to do an even deeper dive around it.

Join us for the follow-up discussion at 11 a.m. January 19 -- even if you missed the first conversation.

Neuroscientist Paul Zak writes that the key to changing unproductive workplace patterns lies in the way our brains respond to trust. When people show they trust us, our brains get a dose of oxytocin, the feel-good hormone. This prompts us to reciprocate and leads to a trust-building cycle. Zak's original research is the basis of his insights into ways we can consciously stimulate trust by celebrating effort, sharing information, and promoting ownership.

Please register for this event: We need to know how many people to expect to provide adequate seating.

Schedule
