Create a New Level of Engagement and Impact by Using the Principles of Conversational Intelligence® (C-IQ)

 
During this presentation, you will learn how to become an even more effective coach by understanding how to utilize the neuroscience of conversations to trigger trust, growth and innovation with your clients. By understanding how to use Conversational Intelligence techniques and tools you can help to build stronger relationships with your clients and those around you. This presentation, which is based on the book Conversational Intelligence and the work of Judith E. Glaser, will be facilitated by Rhonda York, Harvey Smith and Christine Kinney, ICF-Charlotte members who are Certified Intelligence coaches.

Important Meeting Information:
  • Registration is limited to 24 people due to our location space.
  • Please arrive prior to 8:30 as someone will have to open the door for you - this is a co-working space with member access only.
  • We will have coffee, donuts or bagels available for attendees.

  • Discover how learning to communicate more effectively can help create connection and build trust and intimacy with your clients.
  • Learn about the three levels of conversation and how to ask powerful questions, especially those for which you don't have the answers to.
  • Discover the common mistakes and blind spots of conversations and learn powerful techniques for how to overcome them.

Speaker Bios:

Rhonda O. York, MSEC, PCC, BCC
Rhonda earned a Master's of Science in Executive Coaching (MSEC) from Queens University of Charlotte. She has additional coach training with Coach U, an internationally acclaimed training program for professionals in the coaching field. She also holds a Professional Coach Certification (PCC), an advanced coaching designation awarded by the International Coach Federation. She is a Board Certified Coach (BCC), by the Center for Education and Credentialing. She has studied with Judith E. Glaser and is a Conversational Intelligence® Certified coach. Rhonda is trained and certified in a variety of assessments. She holds a Business Administration Degree from Western Carolina University.
As President of TeamWide Solutions, Rhonda provides leadership development through one-on-one coaching, directional consulting, training, assessments, and facilitating to a diverse client base including CEO's, business owners, senior-level business managers, PhD's, MD's,  MBA candidates, and organizational teams.
 

Harvey Smith, PCC
Harvey Smith, CEO of Institute Success, has partnered in a coaching relationship with more than 2,000 individuals and businesses since 2003. Harvey, who focuses on all levels of leadership, sales, communication and career management, believes we become more effective by developing our strengths, communication skills and success attitudes. He also believes, success is a combination of awareness, attitudes, activities, agreements and accountability. Harvey is a professionally certified coach through the International Coach Federation, holds several other certifications, including UNCC Business Coach, Conversational Intelligence Coach and certifications in various strategic assessments. In addition to his extensive schooling, Harvey brings a background of more than 23 years of sales and leadership experience, having built the most profitable division for this country's largest textile converter.

Christine Kinney, ACC
Christine Kinney, Chief Program Officer of Institute Success, has more than 13 years' experience as a coach. She brings a unique blend of expertise in executive coaching, assessments, conversational intelligence (C-IQ), job fit, and leadership development and training. As an executive coach, she has a strong track record of working with c-suite leaders and others to help them achieve their goals and reach their full potential. Before becoming a coach, Christine held leadership positions for several organizations large and small in a variety of different industries, including financial services, insurance, education, electric utilities and consulting. She is certified in several assessments, including DISC, Values, ADVanced Insights, Emotional Intelligence and Workplace Stress.
