Improvisation for Coaches

Our February meeting kicks off a year of excitement around our new programming themes: Developing You, the Coach; Development Your Client; and Developing Your Practice. This first meeting addresses both You and Your Client.

We understand that getting credentialed as a coach, continuing to develop yourself as a coach, and renewing your coach credential requires education. So, this month and throughout the year, we will align our programming to the ICF Competencies.

February's program builds on two important ICF Coach competencies: Coaching Presence and Active Listening. You will receive 2.0 CCEU's for attending this workshop. Carrie, our speaker says, "Like all humans, we coaches are creatures of habit, subject to our own filters, learning, egos, and blind spots. How can coaching professionals--from the newest to the most seasoned--step out of our default patterns and comfort zones to truly dance in the moment?"
Carrie Spaulding, PCC
This highly experiential workshop will allow coaches to learn the basic rules and skills of improvisation, developing core competencies in an entirely new way. By letting go of control and engaging in true collaboration, coaches will experience greater freedom, creativity, listening presence, power, and willingness to take risks and go deeper into the unknown. You will walk away with enhanced skills, a greater awareness of your personal blind spots and growth opportunities, and a toolkit of exercises to use for your own continued development and with clients.

Meet Carrie Spaulding!

ICF credentialed PCC with 17-years of experience performing, teaching, and directing improv professionally, Carrie lives in Philadelphia and coaches primarily by phone.

With her dynamic, engaging spirit, Carrie facilitate powerful group events. Workshops come alive as Carrie, a former educator, helps individuals achieve their professional and personal goals with her creative, experiential, and out-of-the-box approach.

Carrie specialized in helping thirtysomethings break through Thirtysomething Panic and create the careers, relationships, and lives they want.

There will be something for everyone in this session!
