February Coaching Conversation: Coaching from Conflict to Connection - Effective Communication Strategies

Conflict is an essential skill for healthy relationships. In this highly interactive workshop, participants will explore the definition of conflict, sources of conflict, and ways to revolutionize your clients' conflict resolution techniques.  Group activities will create opportunities to practice identifying conflict styles, crucial conflict management skills, and dealing with conflict using a variety of conversational frameworks. Using a combination of small group activities and group discussion, participants will learn skills to help clients understand and resolve conflict successfully while maintaining healthy relationships.

- Understand how skills like communication, empathy and active listening contribute to conflict prevention and resolution
- Identify conflict styles and how they influence conflict management
- Increase confidence while having difficult conversations and resolving conflict
- Develop strategies to navigate challenging moments in a client conversation or dialogue

Meet Your Presenters: Sandra Oliver, ACC
