Many individuals on the autism spectrum, including those with college degrees, struggle to choose the right job or career and get hired. Coaching has much to offer if you understand how to adapt traditional models to the needs of this neurodivergent population.
This presentation offers practical strategies for guiding these clients to manageable employment. The emphasis is on assisting individuals seeking competitive (not sheltered or heavily supported) employment.

Meet Your Presenter: Barbara Bissonnette

Barbara Bissonnette is the Principal of Forward Motion Coaching (
www.ForwardMotion.info). Since 2006 she has specialized in career development coaching for individuals with Asperger's Syndrome and similar autism spectrum profiles. In addition to working with private clients, she offers professional development training, including the Asperger's/Autism Employment Coach Certification.
Barbara earned a graduate certificate in executive coaching from William James College, and a coach certification from the Institute for Professional Excellence in Coaching (IPEC).
