Welcome 2022! With every New Year comes a new start, new beginnings, and new opportunities. As we all put 2021 in the rearview and look forward into 2022 what memories do we want to create and what opportunities do you foresee for this coming year as a member of the Charlotte Area Chapter of ICF? Our 2022 Board would like to kick off the year by reinforcing the successes that members have enjoyed to this point and challenge our members to find other avenues of opportunity that will enable each of you to Build Your Community. 

Learn from our 2022 leaders about our vision and volunteer opportunities for this coming year. We will also provide ICF Global and Charlotte Area Chapter updates as well as spend some time together connecting as members so you can either start or continue to Build Your Community. 

We are eager to continue to learn and have fun as we support one another in our coaching journeys together. Thank you in advance for joining this session!

Meet Your Presenter: Jim Fortner, PCC and 2022 Board Members

First, I am looking forward to serving this chapter as the 2022 president. As president, I want to empower and challenge each member to "Build Your Community" and engage in activities that add value to your purpose and goals. I am by profession a project consultant and work for North Highland Consulting Firm. As a coach, I am an internal coach and use my coaching skills as consultant to build and empower teams daily.




As a consultant and a coach, I look to keep things simple -- borrowing fundamentals from my childhood growing up as a farm boy and not trying to overthink anything. My biggest asset is that I am a connector, whether it is people or processes. I try to find the magic that brings out the best in people so that everyone feels valued.
