July Coaching Conversation: Feelings: The Gateway to Deeper Awareness and Right Action

When: 7/19/2022 4:30 PM - 5:45 PM
Research shows that everything starts with a thought which then leads to an emotional response (manifested as feelings), that in turn impacts our thinking and eventually leads to our actions.  As coaches, we are trained to not only listen with our ears, but with our eyes, heart and gut.  Listening for our client's feelings that they are experiencing opens the "door" for greater exploration as to their mindset and environmental triggers creating these feelings/emotions.

Learning Objectives:
•    To experiment with a couple of frameworks that can help our clients more specifically articulate what they are feeling given their current situation.
•    Understand how to help our clients to reframe their emotional triggers to neutralize and possibly eliminate any negative feelings and emotional responses.
•    Identify practical ways our clients can shift their emotional energy from a pessimistic/survival based one to an optimistic/thriving state.
