Coaching the Breakthrough Mind: How Generative Questions and Positive Framing Spark Transformative Insight and Ignite Momentum
Coaching the Breakthrough Mind introduces two high-impact conversational practices--Generative Questions and Positive Framing--that help clients shift from stuck patterns into clarity, agency, and forward momentum. Grounded in Appreciative Inquiry and supported by neuroscience, this session gives coaches a practical framework for activating "breakthrough mindsets" that spark insight and expand possibility. Through demonstrations, partner practice, and a simple integration model, participants will learn how to use these practices in real coaching conversations and how to teach them to clients for self-coaching between sessions.
Coaches will walk away with repeatable, evidence-informed tools that elevate presence, deepen impact, and accelerate client transformation.
Learning Objectives:
1. Transform stuck patterns using Positive Framing shifting client attention toward desired outcomes and generative possibilities.
2. Develop Generative Questions that enhance awareness, insight, and strengths-based thinking.
3. Apply an integrated conversational model using both practices to support client breakthroughs.
4. Teach clients how to use basic forms of these tools for self-coaching and sustained growth between sessions.
