This is an IN-PERSON event.

Kicking Off: ICF-CAC's first Collective Coaching Connection.

Collective Coaching Connection is an in-person event that brings together a group of coaches who share professional challenges.  During these sessions, coaches will network, learn together, and cultivate "collective intelligence" through a process of speaking, listening, reflection and action.

The Collective Coaching Connection will be held each quarter at CBI from 11:30 -1:00.  May 3, 2023 will be our first event.  The topic will be Diversity and Coaching.

As coaches, it's crucial we increase our effectiveness at coaching across differences.  We must start by raising our awareness of common blind spots as coaches.  A key to our success is deepening our awareness of our own group identities, which shape how we engage across differences consciously and unconsciously.  We will then explore some ways we have designed our practices which may get in the way of coaching effectively across differences, and identify small changes we can make to increase our effectiveness.

Learning Objectives or outcomes of the session (list 3-4):
* Define diversity equity, inclusion & belonging
* Increase awareness of blind spots
* Explore the impact of group memberships
