The ICF CAC Board of Directors has focused on developing three strategic objectives:
  • Increase community engagement
  • Increase member engagement
  • Improve infrastructure

We have started building out the goals and planning how we will achieve them. We have generated a lot of great ideas, and we are doing our best to prioritize them.

We want your feedback. And we want to know how you would like to help bring these ideas to life.

During the Town Hall, the leaders of the three strategic committees will report on the strategies we are developing and the outcomes we believe the chapter should focus on now and in the future.

Participants will break into small groups to discuss the ideas they've heard, and to collaborate on ways to accomplish them. Participants will have the opportunity to ask questions and provide feedback to the board.

We plan to spend about 30 minutes on each committee.

Of course, we hope that chapter members will embrace what they hear. We want to understand whether members see as much potential for positive growth and interesting opportunities as we do in these strategies and what additional ideas they have.

Engagement and commitment are two themes you will hear during the Town Hall. We  are looking for ways to connect with our members and connect members to each other. We also want to increase our engagement with the community by providing the great coaches within this chapter the ability to extend their relationships and develop partnerships. With your help, we can achieve many of the goals that support our strategic objectives.

Those gathering in person will have the opportunity to network and spend social time with fellow chapter members. We will have light refreshments sandwiches and snacks for those who would like a little nourishment before and after the presentation.

Here's the schedule:

5-5:30 p.m. Social and networking
5:30 p.m. Town Hall begins
Opening: Review of Mission, Values and Vision
Overview of three strategic initiatives
Breakout sessions follow each strategy presentation
Feedback
7:15-8 p.m. Social and networking
8 p.m. Adjourn
The board is looking for two outcomes:

Feedback from the chapter about who well the strategic priorities we present align with members' needs and expectations from the chapter.
Engagement! Whatever our strategy and vision, the board cannot do this alone. We are grateful for our current volunteers with our committees, and we need more chapter members to become engaged.
