Year-End Reflection for Coaching Professionals: From Insight to Action

As coaches, we excel at guiding others through reflection and goal-setting, but how often do we apply these same rigorous practices to our own professional development? This interactive 60-minute session introduces the "COACH Method" - a systematic framework for meaningful year-end reflection aligned with the 2025 ICF Core Competencies.

Participants engage in focused exercises to catalog key professional experiences, identify patterns in their coaching practice, and analyze impact across multiple dimensions. Sharon guides attendees through the foundational elements (Catalog, Observe, Analyze) during the session, with complete templates provided for continued post-session work (Chart and Harmonize).

This efficient, high-impact session helps coaches identify their top development priorities while providing practical tools that can be immediately implemented for personal growth and seamlessly integrated into client coaching practice. Perfect for coaching professionals seeking measurable professional advancement while modeling the reflective practices they promote.

Learning Objectives:
  • Apply the COACH Method framework to conduct comprehensive professional reflection - Participants will learn to systematically Catalog experiences, Observe patterns, Analyze impact, Chart their course, and Harmonize alignment between values and actions.
  • Identify patterns in coaching practice to leverage strengths and address development areas - Attendees will recognize recurring themes in successful client outcomes, energy-draining situations, and professional growth opportunities.
  • Transform reflection insights into specific, measurable action plans for professional development - Participants will create concrete goals with accountability measures and implementation timelines.
  • Integrate reflection tools into their own coaching practice to enhance client outcomes - Coaches will gain practical templates and frameworks they can immediately use with clients for enhanced coaching effectiveness.
