The speaker for our ICF-Charlotte chapter meeting on April 19 is Denise Hedges, PCC, a Coach U faculty member, trainer, and speaker who specializes in helping coaching build their practices.
"Speaking to groups is the No. 1 way to build a coaching practice, but only if who you're being in front of the room is as present, authentic, and sincere as it is when you're interacting with clients," Denise says.
Denise advocates applying the same core competencies to speaking as we do to our coaching. She'll talk about how to create a safe and supportive environment in our meeting rooms that honors our audience's agenda.
