Program Description:

At the heart of DEI efforts are the desire to promote respect, fairness, and basic morality intrinsically human values that resonate with all. Yet, as we look around today's world, it seems some are not yet ready to embrace this reality.
As coaches, we must practice non-judgment. So, what are we to do if we discover one of our clients is resistant to efforts around Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion? Join Dr. Nicholas Harvey for a frank discussion on the quandary we sometimes find ourselves in with DEI.

Learning Objectives:
●    Create an awareness around the resistance fostered by DEI topics in clients
●    Share the appropriate mindsets for coaches when coaching a client who demonstrates resistance related to DEI
●    Provide suitable coaching strategies and responses for coaches when coaching clients around DEI
●    Demonstrate how coaching through resistance regarding DEI aligns with the ICF Coaching Competencies.

CCEUs will be available for this program: 1  Core Competencies and .5 Resource Development Credit
